Jakob Gottschau is director and owner of Gottschau Media (former Express TV-Production) – a Copenhagen based independent production company mainly focused on documentaries for an international audience.

Gottschau Media has several times co-produced with Nordic broadcasters – one of the productions is “Tracking Down the Holy War” — about the history of radical Islam, others are “Late Lessons from Early Warnings”, “Bringing Life to Space” and “Facebookistan” which has been broadcasted and awarded at festivals around the world.

One of the latest production is: “Factory of Lies ” – a film which investigates the Russian troll factory in Saint Petersburg where young Russians are producing fake stories – trying to interfere in election processes in US and Europe . Recently Jakob Gottschau completed the documentary film “Magic Mud”, which premiered at CPHDOX 2024.

Øjvind Hesselager er medtilrettelægger på flere af Gottschau Medias produktioner, blandt andre den prisvindende serie Indvandringens Historie og serierne Turen går til Mars og På sporet af Den Hellige Krig.

Ved siden af arbejdet for Gottschau Media har Øjvind været ansvarshavende redaktør for en række medier, blandt andet fagbladet Journalisten og Bornholms Tidende, hvor han begge steder har gennemført digitale omstillinger.

Øjvind har undervist på journalistuddannelsen, hvor han også fungerer som censor, og han er for tiden studerende på Københavns Universitet, hvor han i sommeren 2025 afslutter akademiuddannelsen som naturvejleder. Som naturvejleder har han tilrettelagt formidlinger for både børn og voksne.
